Ms. Cayem obtained undergraduate degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance from the Ithaca College School of Music, where she studied with Dr. Ivy Walz. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Vocal Performance at the George Mason University Dewberry School of Music under the tutelage of Professor Patricia Miller, where she serves as a Peterson Vocal Studies Artist-Scholar.
A passionate teacher, Hannah is a certified K-12 music educator. She has taught in various settings from public school, to children’s choir, to music nonprofits. When she isn’t singing or teaching, you can find her practicing yoga, reading, and trying new vegan recipes. Hannah is thrilled to be on faculty at the Academy of Music, where she opened her voice studio in 2023. She currently maintains a bustling voice and piano studio of children and adult musicians, and leads the PreZuki early childhood music program. Ms. Cayem currently resides in Norfolk, VA with her partner, Tyler, and Russian Blue cat, Mila.
