Tina is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) where she received a Professional Artist Certificate (PAC), M.M, and B.M in violin performance.
Tina also studied piano with Dr. Thomas Swenson at Salem College for 5 years.
While attending UNCSA, she excelled academically and earned several merit scholarships.
Tina became a certified Suzuki Book 1 instructor with Ronda Cole at the Greater Washington Suzuki Institute.
She has had additional training with Terry Durbin, and Teri Einfeldt at Ithaca College.
Currently, Tina is a violin instructor at AOM, Parkview Elementary; Teaching Artist for Young Audiences of Virginia (YAV); harp instructor at Blair Middle School; piano accompanist with AOM Suzuki Strings, and a viola performer with Symphonicity.
