Suzuki Piano. An experienced and creative piano teacher with a proven ability to teach and support aspiring musicians of all ages, Mrs. Lo Betti is presently studying for a Master in Music Education at Old Dominion University, Norfolk (Virginia). She has a Bachelor Degree in Piano Performance from the Conservatory of Music Antonio Scontrino in Trapani, Italy. Mrs. Lo Betti was qualified in the Suzuki Method by the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She was also trained to teach music to preschool children with a certificate from the Cultural Association Musica Nova, Rome, Italy.
Prior to joining The Academy of Music, Mrs. Lo Betti was a piano instructor at the Filarmonica Association, City of Ardea (Rome), Italy for 10 years. She also worked as a piano teacher for the Music Institute Giuseppe Verdi, Pomezia, Italy, and as an Elementary/Middle School piano teacher in the Music Institute S. Bonifacio, Pomezia, Italy.
In her spare time she has volunteered at SACT Officers Partners’ Club, Norfolk (VA), as membership chair. She was also the secretary for the Club Highway Six, Militari d’Epoca in Rome, Italy, and a voice teacher at the Elementary School Nuova Florida, Ardea (Rome), Italy.
Her professional experience includes several years as the piano accompanist for SACT (Supreme Allied Command Transformation), Norfolk (VA), and piano performances for several NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization)’s civilian events.
