Megan McFadden (they/them) is a third year Music Performance Major at Old Dominion University. They currently hold the prestigious Russell Stanger Quartet scholarship at ODU, and Principal Violist spot of the ODU Symphony Orchestra. Megan played in many ensembles over her high school years as well, including Bay Youth Orchestras of Virginia and Hampton Roads Chamber Players. Megan had the opportunity to tour Ireland with Bay Youth in 2018 and perform in their annual Concerto Competition in 2019. Megan also performed in ODU’s annual Young Artist Competition in 2021. Megan has been teaching and mentoring viola and violin students for the past five years and has loved every second of it.
