Lisa Hogan


Lisa Marie Hogan is a graduate of Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, where she obtained her Master of Music degree in 2016 for music performance. During her time in Clarksville, Lisa performed several roles including Maybelle/Peggy in Lee Hoiby’s This is the Rill Speaking, Clarina in Gioachino Rossini’s La cambiale di matrimonio, and the Dragonfly in Maurice Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges. In 2015, at Harrower Summer Opera Workshop in Atlanta, Georgia she sang the role of Mistress Quickly in Verdi’s Falstaff and in 2017 she returned to Harrower and performed the role of Carmen in Georges Bizet’s Carmen. Recently Lisa performed the roles of Countess Charlotte Malcolm in Stephen Sondheim’s  A Little Night Music here at Little Theatre of Norfolk in June 2018, Hansel in Tidewater Opera Initiative’s production of Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel in August 2018, and Megan B in Robert Paterson’s chamber opera The Whole Truth at Christopher Newport University in November 2018. Lisa teaches preschool music at West Ghent school.
