A native of Norfolk VA, Keaton Whitehurst has a BA in vocal performance from the Conservatory at Shenandoah University and an MME from Old Dominion University. Currently, she is a solfège teacher and sectional assistant with the Virginia Children’s Choir, teaches voice lessons with the Academy of Music and is the K-5 music teacher at Christopher Academy in Portsmouth. Keaton is an active performer in Hampton Roads, frequently performing with the Virginia Chorale and the choir of Christ and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
