20 years as a Professional Classical musician; plays bassoon, piano and saxophone.

Trained to rehearse small ensembles and large bands/orchestras.

Expert in ear training and solfege.

Very knowledgeable in music theory.

Bilingual in Chinese language, taken the Defense Language Proficiency Test for 12 years and scored very high. Familiar with both American and Chinese cultures.

Graduated from New England Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor’s degree and as a member of Taiyo woodwind quintet, won 3 national chamber music competitions and got into the Artist Diploma program which made history at school.

Studied with well-known bassoonist like Mr. Sherman Walt ( Principle of Boston Symphony); Otto Eifert( Principle of Cincinnati Orchestra); Mr. Robert Barris ( Professor at Northwestern University and DePaul University); Mr. Paul Barrett ( Principle Bassoon of Honolulu Symphony); Mr. Danny Phipps ( Principle at US Air force band Washington DC).
