Andrew Pfeiffer is a classically trained pianist and educator with over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages and levels. He holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Andrew has taught piano at the college level, including at Hampton University, and has worked extensively in private music academies and one-on-one studio settings. His teaching emphasizes healthy technique, musical curiosity, and long-term artistic growth, helping students develop not only strong fundamentals but also a deep understanding of musical structure and expression.

Drawing on his performance background, Andrew guides students through a wide range of repertoire—from the classical canon to modern works—while tailoring each lesson to the individual student’s goals, learning style, and pace. He is particularly skilled at working with students who value clear explanations, thoughtful problem-solving, and a patient, detail-oriented approach.

Andrew believes that meaningful progress comes from slowing down, listening carefully, and cultivating both discipline and joy at the keyboard. Whether preparing for auditions, competitions, or simply seeking a deeper relationship with music, his students are encouraged to become confident, independent musicians.
