While a student, Ms. Curinga won the University of Lynchburg Concerto Competition in 2011 and 2012 with works by F. Hoffmeister and D. Kabalevsky,\u00a0respectively. She also performed as a violinist in the University of Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra. After graduation, Ms. Curinga volunteered with St. John the Apostle&#8217;s Catholic Church music ministry as principal violinist, substitute pianist, and children&#8217;s choir director. She has taught private music lessons for over 8 years, including piano, violin, viola, and music theory. Recent performances include guest-performer at the<em> Esther C. Olin Lecture Recital on Piano Performance<\/em> at University of Lynchburg, as well as Ms. Curinga&#8217;s own personal studio recitals.
