Principal Second Violin with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra since 2005, Assistant Principal Second Violin, Chautauqua Symphony. Previously Assistant Concertmaster, Richmond Symphony (2009-10), Assistant Principal Second Violin, Orchestre Symphonique de Québec (2003-2005), Acting Concertmaster West Virginia Symphony Orchestra (2002-2003). Substitute violin with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Washington National Opera.

Chamber music includes First Violin with the Montclaire String Quartet and Ambrosia Quartet. Adjunct Professor of Violin, Virginia Commonwealth University. Master classes, chamber music and orchestral excerpts coach with Bay Youth Orchestras of Virginia, Richmond Youth Symphony Orchestra and Hampton Roads Chamber Players. Judge for several music competitions throughout Virginia.

Simon plays a violin by Hilaire Darche and a bow by Louis Morizot.
