Alexandra Mullins


A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mullins has played harp and piano since the age of four, and received a BM in Harp Performance from Indiana University in 2016 under Distinguished Professor Susann McDonald. From 2016-2017 she worked as an Itinerant Musician at Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia, where she performed folk and early music in 18th century costume. She has performed throughout the US with various orchestras and as the American Harp Society’s Young Artist, and in Europe and Asia for various competitions, winning prizes in the Korea International Harp Competition, the USA International HarpCompetition, and the Israel International Harp Contest. She currently lives in Norfolk, VA where she maintains a full piano and harp studio, working with the Norfolk Academy, the Academy of Music, and the Williamsburg Youth Harp Ensemble.
